About Eric Young

I’m Eric Young, a dog behavior rehabilitation specialist working with serious behavior problems and unstable dogs in real homes.

This is not obedience training.
This is not group classes.
This is not quick fixes or trendy methods.

This is structured, in-home behavior rehabilitation focused on control, stability, and lasting change.

What I Do

I work with dogs that are:
aggressive
unstable
out of control in the home
unsafe around people, animals, or environments
I do not train in artificial settings and hope it transfers.
I work where the behavior actually exists — inside the home, in real situations, with real pressure.
Because behavior does not change in theory.
It changes in reality.

How I Work

I do not just work with the dog.
I work with the owner.
Dogs do not develop instability in isolation. They adapt to the structure, leadership, and handling they live with. When that structure is unclear or inconsistent, behavior deteriorates.
Rehabilitation requires:
leadership
boundaries
clarity
and consistency
That means the owner must change first.
I will correct the dog.
I will also correct the owner.
Not to criticize — but because stability requires it.

My Philosophy

Dogs are not human.
They do not think like humans.
They do not need emotional negotiation.
They need:
direction
structure
and leadership they can trust
Most dogs are born followers. When they are forced into leadership through lack of guidance, instability develops. My work is to remove that burden from the dog and return control to the human — where it belongs.
When leadership is clear, behavior stabilizes.

What to Expect

This work is:
direct
structured
and sometimes uncomfortable
There are no shortcuts.
There is no “just one session.”
There is no progress without consistency.
If you are willing to change, the dog will change.
If you are not, nothing will.
The dog will always tell the truth.

Why I Do This

Because unstable dogs do not get better on their own.
And they do not deserve to live in confusion, stress, or chaos.
Rehabilitation is not about perfection.
It is about stability.
And stability changes everything.
